When Sony Xperia 10 VI launched, it shipped with Android 14, but has since been updated to Android 16 (16 Jan 2026). This phone was originally released on 5 / 2024.

Expected: Android 17 (last version ever)
Sony has promised that Sony Xperia 10 VI will get Android 17. However, this is only the manufacturer's promise, as far as we know - Sony might release even further updates to the phone later or might end support earlier on.
Based on what we currently know, the expected Android 17 will be the last Android update for Sony Xperia 10 VI. After this update, the device might get security patches, but wont get any new major Android versions to it.
